Privacy Policy

Sol2C Pty Ltd (“Sol2C”, “we”, “us”) operates the RoteaHub website and publishes the Rotea Protocol Review software. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.

Effective date: April 21, 2026  ·  Governing jurisdiction: New South Wales, Australia

1   Overview

This policy covers information processed through:

  • The RoteaHub website (roteahub.com) — including its contact form and license request workflow.

  • The Rotea Protocol Review desktop software — including its license activation and trial enforcement mechanisms.

We are committed to handling any information you share with us responsibly and in compliance with applicable Australian privacy law, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

2   Information we collect

License requests

To obtain a license, you generate a license request file using the Rotea Protocol Review application and submit it through the website or by email to [email protected] . The request file contains a Machine ID — a non-personally-identifiable hash derived from your device hardware. It does not contain your name, email address, location, or any other personal data. The Machine ID is used solely to bind a license file to your device and to track seat usage for vouchers. The software does not transmit the Machine ID or any other data automatically.

Contact form

When you submit the contact form on roteahub.com, we receive your name, email address, and message body. This information is used only to respond to your enquiry.

Email correspondence

If you contact us directly by email (e.g. to request a license or seek support), we retain your email address and the content of that correspondence for the purpose of handling your request and maintaining a record of the interaction.

3   How we use information

We use the information described above only for the following purposes:

  • Processing license requests and issuing license files.

  • Tracking seat availability for multi-user vouchers.

  • Responding to enquiries submitted through the contact form or by email.

  • Complying with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4   Data stored on your device

The Rotea Protocol Review software stores the following data locally on your device to enforce trial and license rules:

  • Trial start date and status markers.

  • The installed license file (if a paid license has been activated).

  • New-build review window timestamps.

This data is not transmitted to Sol2C or any third party. Sol2C has no remote access to data stored on your device.

5   Telemetry

The Rotea Protocol Review software does not transmit telemetry, usage analytics, crash reports, or any other diagnostic data by default. No background network connections are made by the software outside of an explicit license activation action initiated by you.

6   Third-party services

The RoteaHub website does not currently embed third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. The website is hosted on infrastructure operated by Sol2C; standard server access logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) may be retained for security and diagnostic purposes and are not used for profiling or shared with third parties.

7   Data retention

Contact enquiries — retained for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve your request and for a reasonable period afterward for support continuity.

License records (Machine IDs, issued license files) — retained for the duration of the license relationship and for a period afterward as required by applicable legal and accounting obligations.

You may request deletion of your contact or license data at any time by emailing [email protected] . Note that deleting license records may prevent future reactivation of an associated license.

8   Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

  • Request access to personal information we hold about you.

  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.

  • Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention obligations).

  • Make a complaint about our handling of your personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected] . We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.

9   Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website or software after a revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
