End-User License Agreement (EULA)

Effective date: April 21, 2026  ·  Product: Rotea Protocol Review  ·  Licensor: Sol2C Pty Ltd

This Software is licensed, not sold. By installing or using the Software you agree to this EULA.

1   License grant

Subject to this EULA, Sol2C grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software for evaluation and internal business purposes on devices you own or control, in accordance with any license file issued to you.

2   Free trial; automatic activation

§ 1.1 – 2.1

A 30-day trial may automatically start on first launch ("Trial"), without a purchase. Trial start and status are stored locally on the device (see §3). A 3-day grace period may appear after expiry; after that, the Software may stop functioning until a valid license is loaded.

§ 2.2

One trial per device. Reinstalling does not reset the Trial.

§ 2.3 — New-build review window

If you have already consumed the Trial, installing a newer version may enable a time-limited review (up to 2 days) no more than once every 30 days, solely to evaluate recent changes.

3   Local data; privacy

§ 3.1

This software does not transmit telemetry data by default.

§ 3.2

To obtain a paid license beyond the free Trial, you manually provide a Machine ID (a non-PII device hash) to Sol2C as a license request file; the Software does not send this automatically.

§ 3.3

License status and trial markers are stored locally to enforce trial and license rules.

4   License files; purchase & offline verification

4.1

Licenses are issued and tracked by Sol2C on the basis of a computer hardware identification number.

4.2

Individual licenses can be purchased through the website https://roteahub.com

4.3

Organizations can create pre-paid licenses by machine hash or re-locatable vouchers through the website.

4.4

To purchase an individual license or activate a pre-paid license or voucher, a license request file must be generated by the application on the computer and submitted through the web page or email: [email protected]

4.5

A license file is returned by email or download link through the website.

4.6

To activate the license, open the application License tab and select Load License File. Open the file and review the outcome.

4.7

Note that license options include restriction of the application version to support quality assurance requirements or a baseline for educational purposes. If the installed software does not match the version restriction, the restricted version of the software must be installed.

4.8

Licenses can be transferred between computers by using a license voucher.

4.9

A voucher can be purchased supporting one or more concurrent users.

4.10

The voucher is distributed as a voucher code string to potential users.

4.11

Users create a license request file incorporating the voucher code and submit it through the webpage or email.

4.12

The license manager issues a license if there is a seat available for the voucher.

4.13

To make the voucher available for another computer, a license request file from a user of the voucher may be created with return voucher set.

4.14

Submitting the return voucher license request file through email or website clears the voucher use for re-use by a different computer.

5   Software updates

5.1

We may update the Software from time to time; continued use requires compliance with this EULA.

5.2

5.3

Archived releases will be retained and available for download at Sol2C's discretion.

6   Prohibited actions

You must not:

  1. (a)

    circumvent or attempt to bypass license checks, signatures, device binding, or trial limits (including clock rollback or tampering with local markers);

  2. (b)

    modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the Software except to the extent permitted by law;

  3. (c)

    remove or obscure proprietary notices;

  4. (d)

resell, sublicense, rent, or distribute the Software or license files.

7   Third-party software

The Software includes or uses third-party components that are licensed under their own terms. Copies of those licenses are provided or referenced in the distribution.

8   Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. Sol2C and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Software.

9   Termination

This EULA terminates automatically if you materially breach it. Upon termination or license expiry (including after grace), you must stop using the Software.

SOL2C'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SOFTWARE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID (IF ANY) FOR THE LICENSE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

12   Export; compliance

You must comply with applicable export, sanctions, and compliance laws when using the Software.
